Moureeses Bay offers amazing views of the Poor Knights Islands, remnants of a volcano that erupted about10 million years ago. Now the islands are a protected nature reserve and the waters surrounding them are a marine reserve boasting incredibly clear water and an abundance of sea life. The Islands have been rated by the famous Jacques Cousteau as one of the top ten dive sites in the world. Also, the worlds largest sea cave can be found here - a record lodged with the Guiness Book of Records. For more information on the Poor Knights Islands see
